In the year 2023 itself, there are more than 200,000 Indian students studying in the USA, and the number contributes to more than 20% of the total International students pursuing their studies in the United States.
In the year 2022, the USA issued visas to Indian students, which are more than for any other nationality in the world. Yet, the USA is expecting more Indians to study in the USA as the acting Minister Counselor for Consular Affairs in India clearly stated that they are going to interview more Indian Students than ever before in 2023. At the event, Ambassador Eric Garcetti congratulated those who got their visas approved to study in the USA. He also shared his experiences as a student in India and felt that those experiences were really transformative. He also said that the US is always open to encouraging new talent from India by providing them with world-class opportunities in the United States.
