Job Summary

The Principal of the Intermediate College will serve as the chief administrative officer, providing leadership and direction for all aspects of the college’s operations. This includes academic programs, student services, faculty and staff development, financial management, and community relations. The Principal will ensure the college’s commitment to educational excellence and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic plan for the college in alignment with its mission and goals.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in academic and administrative practices.
  • Promote and ensure academic excellence, student success, and faculty development.
  • Oversee curriculum development and ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate and enhance the quality of instructional programs.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to faculty and staff.
  • Ensure the provision of comprehensive student services, including counseling, academic advising, and extracurricular activities.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
  • Address student concerns and facilitate conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Develop and manage the college’s budget in alignment with institutional goals.
  • Promote the college’s programs and initiatives through public relations and marketing efforts.
  • Ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the college.
  • Oversee facilities management and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
