English Faculty

Job Description

The English faculty member will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses in the English department, including but not limited to composition, literature, and creative writing.

• Design syllabi, assignments, and assessments that meet the learning objectives of the courses.  

• Develop and deliver engaging course content in areas such as English literature, composition, and creative writing.

• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students. 

• Hold regular office hours to assist and mentor students.

• Participate in department meetings, committees, and other service activities within the institution.  

• Mentor and advise students on academic and career goals.  

• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching and research skills.
